Kingpins Badminton Club was started (many years ago) with the aim of providing a friendly and competitive club for badminton players in the Cheltenham area. This ethos continues as we welcome like minded players looking for league standard badminton in a friendly atmosphere. New-comers are always welcome, but sadly we cannot cater for absolute novices. If you have any questions about joining please do not hesitate to contact us.We play (with feather shuttles) in the purpose built sports hall at Balcarras School, Charlton Kings, Cheltenham. This excellent sports hall has both a very high ceiling and great sports flooring making it ideal for badminton. Directions.
We also play matches in the Gloucestershire Badminton League, and this year will be fielding 2 Mixed, 2 Ladies and 2 Mens team.
Summer club runs on Friday evenings from 8pm to 10pm. During the season, from September 7th 2012, club night will run 7pm to 10pm unless there is a Mixed home match when club starts at 8pm. Because we have moved Men's and Ladies matches to Monday night, most Fridays will now be entirely free for social, club badminton. Please check the Calendar for more details.
